About Us

my story

My name is Hayley Southern, I am a fully qualified beauty therapist and I have worked in the beauty industry since 2009. 


Having spent years working in other beauty salons around Reading, then spending a couple of years on the road doing mobile beauty, I decided in 2019 to build my own beauty cabins (The Zen Den) in our back garden. It's been the most amazing journey so far, and I feel so honoured to have met so many beautiful souls along the way.

From a jungle in the garden to the Zen Den today. The Zen Den consists of two fully equipped, dedicated, private treatment rooms, nail stations, reception area, fully functional toilet facilities, a spray tan room and a hot tub.


Our dedicated treatment rooms have been designed with you in mind. Peaceful music, scented candles, heated couches, underfloor heating, air conditioning along with a selection hot and cold drinks are just some of the things we offer to ensure your experience at the Zen Den is perfect in every way.
